A full-day journey inspired by the bestselling book Gåtfulla Skåne (Mystical Scania) by authors Polgara Källman and Caroline Alesmark.
Join us for a guided bus tour to some of Österlen’s most mysterious and atmospheric historical sites. Throughout the day we visit ancient monuments, coastal landscapes, and places shaped by folklore, legends, and traces of the distant past.
Along the journey, your guides share stories, local history, archaeological discoveries, myths, and lesser-kn
own traditions connected to the landscape we pass through. The storytelling continues between the stops as we travel through some of the most beautiful parts of the Scanian countryside and coastline.
Your guides for the tour are the authors Caroline Alesmark and Polgara Källman, who bring the places to life through vivid storytelling and historical insight inspired by their work with Mystical Scania.
During the journey we stop for lunch or coffee breaks where you can enjoy your own packed food and refreshments.
We travel by bus, but some of the
sites are reached by short walks over uneven ground, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
There will also be an opportunity to purchase signed copies of Mystical Scania during the tour.
