BECOME A LOCAL GUIDE

Do you know your local history, landscape, and legends like the back of your hand?
Do you love talking to people, guiding them through nature, and telling stories that bring ancient places to life?

At Scandigrounds, we’re looking for curious, passionate individuals who want to become local archaeological guides and help visitors explore Sweden’s hidden cultural treasures.

🛠 What We’re Looking For

  • You live in or near a historical or natural site (e.g. stone circles, runestones, old fortresses).

  • You enjoy storytelling, hiking, and sharing local knowledge.

  • You’re reliable, friendly, and speak English and/or Swedish.

  • Archaeological background? A plus – but not a must.

🎒 What You Get

  • Full support in setting up your own tour – content, structure, AR integration (if needed).

  • Appear on the Scandigrounds website and booking platform.

  • Earn money with each tour.

  • Flexible schedule – you decide when you guide.

Känner du till din hembygd och dess historia, landskap och sägner på djupet?
Gillar du att träffa människor, visa dem naturen och berätta historier som väcker gamla platser till liv?

På Scandigrounds söker vi lokala guider som vill dela med sig av sin kunskap och ge besökare en unik inblick i Sveriges dolda kulturarv.

🛠 Vi söker dig som:

  • Bor nära ett historiskt eller naturnära område (t.ex. skeppssättningar, runstenar, fornborgar).

  • Gillar att berätta, vandra och dela lokal kunskap.

  • Är pålitlig, social och pratar svenska och/eller engelska.

  • Har du arkeologisk bakgrund? Plus i kanten – men inget krav.

🎒 Du får:

  • Hjälp med att utforma din tur – innehåll, struktur, ev. AR-stöd.

  • Synlighet via Scandigrounds.se och vårt bokningssystem.

  • Intäkter per guidad tur.

  • Flexibelt schema – du bestämmer när du guidar.
